Role: Graduate Maritime Services Systems Engineer | Location: Cowes (Isle of Wight)

Details

  • Length of contract: Permanent contract
  • Start date (dd Month Year): 7th September 2026
  • Working arrangements: Hybrid and flexible where possible; attendance at site 3-5 days per week for this role
  • Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Learning and applying Systems Engineering principles to support the design of systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Discerning and decomposing requirements to system and sub-system level, learning requirements management techniques.
  • Undertaking system design, using Model Based Systems Engineering techniques, to subsystem level using toolsets such as CATIA Magic or Enterprise Architect.
  • Undertaking modelling and simulation of system elements using toolsets such as MATLAB/Simulink/Python.
  • Assisting with definition and execution of system integration and testing.
  • Supporting senior engineers in the definition of Verification and Validation acceptance strategies.
  • Assisting with technical reviews of engineering technical documentation and design.

Qualifications

  • As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering & Computer Science.
