Advance TRS are working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy renowned for delivering some of the UK’s most high-profile and complex projects. They are looking to recruit a geotechnical design engineer to support major schemes including HS2 and other exciting infrastructure developments. This is a great opportunity to join an established team with a strong mix of experience, within one of the country’s top consultancies.

Responsibilities

Support major infrastructure schemes, including HS2, as part of an established geotechnical design team.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, ideally with a master's degree
• Prior Geotechnical experience gained while working for another consultancy on major projects
• Either chartered or working towards chartership
• Experience of Geotechnical design (earthworks, soil and rock slope stability, retaining structures, foundations, excavations, basements and ground improvement)
• Experience in using several different Geotechnical and FEA software (WALLAP, SlopeW & Plaxis etc)
• 3D soil interaction and tunnelling experience
