CNC Grinding Manufacturing Engineer (Setter/Operator) Location: Leicester Hours of Work: Monday Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:15 pm Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 noon About the Role: We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinding Manufacturing Engineer with strong hands-on experience in CNC and manual grinding within the aerospace sector. This role requires expertise in setting and operating CNC grinders, with the ability to interrogate and manipulate CNC programs as needed. You will also be involved in finishing operations and machine fault-finding, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities of this CNC Grinding Manufacturing Engineer role: Set and operate CNC grinding machines , including automated grinders. Carry out manual grinding operations as required. Interrogate and manipulate CNC programs to optimise machining processes. Read and interpret CAD drawings to produce precision aerospace components. Operate finishing equipment, including: Shot blasting Vapour blasting Vibrating machines
