ZeroAvia is at the forefront of a new clean aviation ecosystem, and the successful candidate will be joining a world-class team that is passionate about designing and delivering solutions that are not just carbon-emission free but also cost-effective.

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, integration and verification of reliable power, analog and mixed signal electronics.
  • From schematic capture to layout. Selection of components, generation of the required documentation for traceability, compliance, and configuration control in accordance with ZeroAvia aerospace industry standard processes for manufacturing handoff, following internal and aerospace industry standard processes.
  • Conduct hands-on testing, create and develop the required harnesses, test rigs and use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, VNAs, spectrum analyzers to commission and verify designs.
  • Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, and Software teams and other stakeholders to support the integration of HW electronic circuit card designs.

HW Development Assurance Activities

  • Proficient in modelling electronic circuits using SPICE-based simulation tools; able to analyse and validate analog and mixed-signal designs through simulation.
  • Knowledge of physical implementation and good signal integrity practices of SPI, I2C, RS485, Ethernet and CAN communication interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical safety (creepage and clearance, insulation requirements, etc).
  • Strong understanding of Low-Level Analog circuit design and digital signal processing.
  • Strong skills in designing and implementing data acquisition systems.
  • Proven experience working with microcontrollers and digital signal processing.
  • Strong understanding of designing electronics hardware to meet qualification and environmental requirements (EMC testing, etc).

Experience

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hardware electronics design experience.
  • 5+ years hardware development experience.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a Design Organisation Approval (DOA).
  • Design experience against IEC 60664, DO-160 or MIL-STD-810.
  • Familiarity with low and high voltage systems (up to 1.5 KV).
  • Experience in designing airborne electronics hardware.
  • Proficient in LTSpice or Simetrix.

Benefits

At ZeroAvia, we pursue clean sky innovation and hydrogen-electric powertrains. We offer a range of benefits to support you and your family, including health and dental care, mental health support, free lunch and snacks, and various clubs and wellness initiatives.
