DUE TO COMPANY GROWTH PLANS,OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A GRADUATE ELECTRONIC HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER TO WORK IN A BUSY, DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT IN OUR OFFICES IN ASH VALE, SURREY.
The role will involve working within the engineering side of the business which will include design and development work, product testing and manufacturing support activities.
You will be working closely with a team of senior engineer and engineering technicians. Although the ability to self-manage is important, the senior engineers will support and mentor a successful candidate to allow them to grow and develop into the role.
Beneficial Technical Skills
* Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, skills to be able to write test plans against formal product requirements to allow product compliance to be demonstrated.
* Mechanical assembly skills to be able to assist in the build and development of prototype products and test samples/bespoke test equipment.
* Understanding of, or willingness to learn, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design principles with the ability to consider EMC during system and sub-assembly design. A basic awareness of RF engineering may be of benefit in this respect although is not expected.
Attributes needed
* Ability to adopt existing design processes/systems and provide input into developing existing processes.
