Max Fordham is an award-winning MEP engineering practice. We are committed to leading the industry in tackling the climate and biodiversity crises and to providing an open, inclusive and supportive environment for our employees and partners.

About the Role

Graduate Engineers are the future of our practice. Working as part of the heat networks team in the London office, you will be supported as you learn—from developing a well thought out brief to delivering a heat network that exceeds the client’s expectations. You will learn to understand buildings and heat networks in detail and at a high level, while working on interesting and complex projects. You will learn to think about buildings and heat networks in an integrated way to make them work better and use less energy.

We are looking for graduate engineers who are keen to influence positive outcomes: meeting the needs of clients and society; using design to respond to the climate emergency; communicating clearly and collaborating effectively with clients and others to deliver world-class sustainable buildings.

About You

If you are curious about pushing the boundaries to make heat networks work better and use less energy, this could be the role for you. You will be inspired by beautiful engineering design, enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving, and be comfortable visiting sites as well as working in the office.

You are likely to have a science, engineering, or mathematics background with a grade 2:1 or equivalent. You will be able to work on your own while contributing to collaborative work and positively supporting the team, interacting confidently and clearly with colleagues and external collaborators.
