Role Description


We are seeking a full-time Heating Engineer to join our team, based in Essex and covering surrounding areas. This is a field-based position working on domestic and light commercial projects.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:


Installing, servicing, and maintaining Gas boilers, LPG systems, and Air Source Heat Pumps.


Carrying out central heating system upgrades, fault finding, and repairs.


Supporting renewable energy projects, including integration with underfloor heating and hot water systems.


Completing plumbing works and associated building maintenance where required.


Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, MCS standards, and best practices.


Delivering excellent customer service and providing clear technical advice to clients.


Qualifications & Experience


Proven experience in Gas heating systems (installation, servicing, breakdowns, and repairs).


Hands-on experience with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), including installation, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.


Proficiency in general plumbing and heating system upgrades.


Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.


Knowledge of eco-friendly and energy-efficient technologies.


Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on site.


Excellent communication and customer service skills.


Essential Certifications/Licences


Gas Safe Registration (domestic and/or commercial desirable).


FGAS or equivalent ASHP training/certification (desirable, training can be provided).


Full UK Driving Licence.
