Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Mobile & Workshop Service Engineer - Exeter to join our Southwest field service team. This position is for a well-established company who believe in putting time into their employees to further their career with training and qualifications.
Heavy Plant Engineer - Exeter Job Overview
Based primarily at the Exeter depot, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment. Carry out routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturer schedules and specifications. Monitor and top up lubricants and fluids as required. Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure equipment is operating safely. Identify, report, and escalate faults promptly. Clean, inspect, and prepare machinery for redeployment or transfer. Fit and replace parts when necessary to keep equipment in optimal condition. Work collaboratively with team members on larger repair and maintenance tasks. Support the digital division with the installation of GPS systems, human-form recognition cameras, height and slew restrictors, and other innovative technologies as the role evolves (full training provided).
