HPC Infrastructure Engineer - Cambridge (Hybrid, 2-3 days p/w) - Outside IR35

Spinks have an urgent requirement for an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer to join a client for a 6 month engagement.

You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, tackling a variety of projects while taking a consultative approach to exciting new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work on large-scale computing environments (HPC, HTC, or BC) and contribute to their administration and operation.
• Collaborate in a DevOps team to support platform operations and improvements.
• Participate in the administration of large-scale cluster and server computing and related software.
• Develop scripting and tooling (e.g., Bash, Python) to support HPC and DevOps style platform operations.

Key Requirements

• Strong understanding of large-scale computing environments, such as HPC, HTC or BC.
• Hands-on experience working in a DevOps team.
• Experience of administration of large-scale cluster and server computing and related software.
• Understanding of scripting and tool development for HPC & DevOps style platform operations using Bash and Python.
• Tech Stack: Java, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, AWS, Python, HPC, Perl, Azure, C++, GCP, Ruby.

Role Details

• Outside IR35

• £300-350/day
