High Performance Computing (HPC) Performance Engineer - UK/IrelandAn exciting and brand-new opportunity for experienced HPC Performance Engineer to join one of Europe's leading HPC systems integrators. In this role you will work with customers, supporting them by improving application performance, porting and optimising applications for new platforms and running benchmarks for customer procurements.You are likely to currently be a technical user of HPC systems in a computational science, mathematical modelling or algorithm development setting or already be working for an HPC software, hardware or system integration company.You are likely to already have the following skills:Experience working with parallel scientific applicationsSolid experience of supporting and optimising HPC software for High Performance Computing (HPC)/supercomputer solutionsComfortable using Linux, Python and bash (or similar)Programming experience in C, C++, MPI, OpenMP and/or FortranThis employer is has its headquarters in Germany but are ideally looking to recruit this person to be based in the UK or Ireland.
