HSE Engineer – Offshore | Outside IR35 | £500–£600 per day | South West London (Hybrid)\n\nCeto Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Professional to join a major new carbon capture project on a 12-month contract (with strong potential to extend).\n\nThis is a freelance / contract role Outside IR35, offering a competitive day rate of £500–£600 with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days office / 2 days home).\n\nThe Role:\n\nYou will be part of a dedicated HSE project team, ensuring compliance, risk management, and safety systems are implemented and maintained effectively across this high-profile energy transition project.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Subcontractor management and evaluation, including supplier documentation.\n\n * Development and maintenance of project HSE deliverables.\n\n * Leading risk management processes and readiness reviews.\n\n * Conducting internal HSE audits and leading investigations.\n\n * Emergency response coordination.\n\n * Ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Qualified HSE professional (NEBOSH or equivalent).\n\n * Auditor certification (essential).\n\n * Strong offshore project experience, ideally within IMCA/IOGP standards.\n\n * Proven track record in investigations and risk management.\n\nContract & Package:\n\n * Outside IR35 – £500–£600 per day.\n\n * Initial 12-month contract, highly likely to extend.\n\n * Hybrid working: 3 days office / 2 days home.\n\n * Based in South West London.\n\n * Start date: ASAP.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on a major energy transition project at the forefront of carbon capture and sustainable infrastructure
