About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our Project HSE Team supporting the BP NEP / NZT (Carbon Capture) Project and future initiatives. This is a staff role based in Kingston, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge sustainable infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project safety management system.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and evaluate subcontractors, including maintaining the Supplier Document Register. Develop and maintain project-specific HSE deliverables. Lead the risk management process and facilitate HSE readiness reviews. Administer HSE contracts and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Plan and conduct internal HSE audits. Lead incident investigations and ensure thorough documentation. Coordinate and maintain the Country Emergency Response Team. Support continuous improvement of HSE practices across the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Education: Degree-level qualification plus HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH). Experience: 2–4 years working for an IMCA contractor. Certifications: Auditor and investigation certifications required. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IOGP and IMCA standards. Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
