Location: Cambridge (Hybrid - Home and Office Based)
Contract: 12-Month Initial Contract
Rate: Up to £28.58 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams, external design partners, and human factors vendors to deliver usability engineering activities.
- Manage and document use-related risks and contribute to Instructions for Use (IFU) documentation.
- Support the generation of human factors regulatory documentation.
- Provide expert guidance on human factors engineering across the organisation.
- Project manage the supply, assembly, and testing of materials for human factors studies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Human Factors Engineering, ideally within combination product/device development.
- Excellent written English and ability to produce clear, concise documentation for regulatory authorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desirable
- Advanced qualification in Human Factors/Usability or related field.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical or medical device regulatory requirements.
- Background in a medical or healthcare-related discipline.
