Join to apply for the HVAC Detail Designer Engineer role at Expleo GroupAs a HVAC Detail Design Engineer, you will carry out detailed engineering design activities, working closely with cross-functional teams on a range of projects, ensuring work complies with industry standards and regulations. You will deliver accurate technical drawings and specifications, identify and resolve design issues, prepare technical reports and documents, and participate in design reviews.You are an experienced Designer, comfortable using design software and tools such as FORAN. You have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and use analytical and problem-solving skills in challenging situations.You can work autonomously or within a larger team and can flexibly adapt to changing project requirements.ResponsibilitiesCreation of CAD Models and Drawings: Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to meet required standards.Design Deliverables: Ensuring all design deliverables are completed accurately and on time.Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders during appropriate design phases to ensure coordination and functionality of design.Project Support: Contributing to and supporting the entire project and product design cycle, from concept to construction and installation.Technical Support: Providing technical support during the construction and installation phases.Perform self-verification of work.Reporting of technical progress and issues to line management.Be aware of and ensure that safety, health and environmental requirements are implemented.Assist with the maintenance and improvement of quality standards of outputs.Change embodiment.QualificationsThe candidate is required to hold an NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical / HVAC discipline subject.Apprenticeship in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.Essential SkillsProficient in the use of one or more parametric/spec-driven CAD systems in both 3D and 2D environments.Able to work to Engineering Design Standards.Desired SkillsPreferable T26 ExperienceFORANWindchillFamiliarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practicesExperienceExperience in design processes and procedures specifically within detail design.Experience on Naval or Commercial Marine projects (preferably naval shipbuilding projects, or major conversion packages).Experience in Mechanical, Piping or HVAC.Relevant experience from other industries including Oil & Gas, Process, Manufacturing, Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Civil and Automotive.What Do I Need Before I ApplyBPSS clearance required.BenefitsCollaborative working environment and strong client/peer collaboration.Opportunities to expand skills and participate in inspiring projects.Expleo Academy with a suite of accredited training courses.Competitive benefits including medical and dental insurance, pension, life assurance, wellbeing programme, sports and social events.Supportive, inclusive culture with opportunities to think big and challenge the status quo.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
