As an HVAC Installation Engineer at Emtec Climate Solutions, youll be responsible for delivering high-quality installation and commissioning of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial environments. Youll work on installation projects involving splits, VRV/F systems, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs, and close control units, taking jobs from preparation through to full handover. This is a field based role, which requires travel and occasional overnight stays across nationwide locations. This position also requires an Enhanced DBS check to be completed. Your responsibilities: Installation and commissioning Work from technical drawings and specifications to deliver installations to agreed quality standards Install, test and commission HVAC systems, including splits, VRV/F, chillers, heat pumps and ventilation units Work closely with Project Managers and site contacts to ensure smooth delivery Project preparation and delivery Assist with site surveys and pre-start preparation where required Manage tools, materials and equipment to ensure readiness for each project Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for deliveries and specialist works Ensure works are completed within agreed timescales and budgets Customer service and professionalism Provide technical progress updates to customers and internal teams Maintain accurate records, certifications and timesheets Provide recommendations to improve ongoing service and system performance Represent Emtec professionally on customer sites at all times Adhere to all site and company safety procedures e.g. RAMS, permits etc What were looking for: Experience 5+ years experience in installing and testing HVAC systems from start to finish Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills in live environments Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints Understanding of Health and Safety and Compliance regulations A basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous, however full training will be provided Essential qualifications required Possession of a valid CSCS card Full UK driving licence F-Gas Category 1
