As a HVAC Service Engineer at Emtec Climate Solutions, youll be responsible for keeping our clients HVAC systems performing at their best. From preventative maintenance to urgent breakdown responses, youll work across a variety of systems including splits, VRV/F, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs and close control units. Youll be part of a growing, technically skilled team, with the tools, training, and support to deliver a high-quality service that keeps our customers coming back. This is a field based role, which requires travel and occasional overnight stays across nationwide locations. This position also requires an Enhanced DBS check to be completed. Your responsibilities: Service and maintenance Carry out planned maintenance and reactive callouts on HVAC systems Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively Complete compliance checks, including leak checks and performance inspections Complete service and maintenance documentation accurately and on time Breakdown response Respond to reactive call outs and diagnose faults in live environments Source and replace faulty parts, ensuring repairs meet safety standards Work to minimise disruption and downtime to the customer Customer service and professionalism Maintain clear communication with customers and site contacts Provide recommendations to improve ongoing service and system performance Represent Emtec professionally on customer sites at all times Adhere to all site and company safety procedures e.g. RAMS, permits etc What were looking for: Experience 5+ years experience in servicing and maintaining HVAC systems, including AC, VRV/F, AHUs and chillers Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills in live environments Understanding of Health and Safety and Compliance regulations Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and digital job management tools A basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous, however full training will be provided Essential qualifications required Possession of a valid CSCS card Full UK driving licence F-Gas Category 1
