With a strong focus on quality, professionalism, and long-term partnerships, they have built a reputation as one of the most trusted providers in the industry.\n\nThey now have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join their team of 8 engineers in Coventry.\n\nCOMPANY USP\n\nGlobal Reach with Local DeliveryA large workforce delivering facilities management solutions across multiple regions.\n\nEnd-to-End Service OfferingCovering maintenance, engineering, cleaning, procurement, and technical support across multiple industries.\n\nStrong Heritage & ValuesFounded on principles of collaboration, transparency, and professionalism, with decades of experience in the sector.\n\nTrusted by Major BrandsProviding facilities management services to some of the UK’s largest retailers and commercial clients.\n\nJOB PURPOSE\n\nCarrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites.\n\nServicing and repairing a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, FCUs.\n\nUndertaking minor alterations and installations within technical competence in line with current specifications.\n\nOrdering spares in accordance with procedures.\n\nIdentifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the HVAC Supervisor, with recommendations for replacement.\n\nCompleting planned store visits from 12- 15 stores around Coventry, to carry out PPMs, reactive work, and minor repairs as requested by the customer.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE\n\nEssential:\n\nSVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent.\n\nACS Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A (minimum).\n\nDesirable (not essential)\n\nACS Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN, CENWAT, CPA.\n\nCity & Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.\n\nCity & Guilds 7671 18th Edition.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nFlexible to join a 24/7 on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks).\n\nFull driving licence.\n\nExperience using a PDA system.\n\nElectrical fault finding skills.\n\nAble to work at heights and in confined spaces.\n\nExperience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within a retail environment.\n\nSALARY / BENEFITS\n\nSalary: £47,752.38\n\nOTE: £50K+ (with overtime and standby payments)\n\nOn-call: £190 per week (1 in 4 rota)\n\nPaid travel time, door to door.\n\nDouble time on weekends.\n\n45 hours per week\n\n33 days holiday\n\nPrivate pension scheme\n\nPrivate healthcare\n\nLife insurance\n\nEmployee discounts\n\nAdditional company benefits\n\nHOW TO APPLY\n\nIf you are interested, please apply with your current CV to (url removed)
