What you will doJoin Johnson Controls UK&I Service team as an HVAC Service Engineer! This on-site role in Capenhurst (CH1) supports our mission as a leading provider of equipment, controls, and services for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and security systems.As an HVAC Engineer, you will collaborate with a dynamic team, serving as the primary contact for all technical service issues and routine maintenance tasks.How you will do itYour responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving HVAC systems efficiently and according to defined processes, service agreements, and customer needs. You will conduct system preventative maintenance (PPM) as per contract requirements, clearly communicating your findings, any further actions needed, and recommendations for system upgrades or optimisations.Keeping the customer informed throughout the service you provide is crucial. You will prepare detailed reports and technical communications on the work completed and submit them as required. Safety will always be your top priority. Even when working independently, your contributions to the team’s success will be invaluable.What we look forRecognised HVAC qualification: NVQ level 2, 3 or equivalentProven HVAC Service, Maintenance & Breakdown experience in the service engineer role within the air conditioning industryF-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualificationExperience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Toshiba and Mitsubishi ElectricExperience & knowledge with DX, Split & VRV systems, fan coil units, panel coolers, small chillers and AHUs & ventilation equipmentElectrical and controls experience to be able to identify and rectify electrical and control issuesUnderstands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagramsCapable of working without documented procedures and with limited supervisionA committed can-do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team, with a keen eye for detail and excellent verbal and written communication skillsA full UK driving licenseWhat we offerCompetitive salary, and overtime paid on top at premium pay rates.Service vehicle, Mobile phone, tablet, PPE, and any specialist equipment provided.25 days paid holidays plus Bank Holidays.40 Hour week: Monday- Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1:30pmComprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance, employee assistance program, employee referral scheme, employee discounts including high street brands, cycle 2 work scheme and discount on Johnson Controls security products.Training opportunities with outstanding resources available.Career development through various career ladders programs.Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy.Access to business resource groups. #J-18808-Ljbffr
