Are you a skilled Hydraulic Design Engineer looking to take ownership of exciting and technically challenging projects?
We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our engineering team, focusing on the design, development, and delivery of hydraulic and pneumatic systems for a range of specialised equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop bespoke hydraulic and pneumatic systems to meet project requirements.
* Perform and verify hydraulic and/or pneumatic design calculations.
* Plan, execute, and monitor engineering tasks to meet project timelines and specifications.
* Ensure all designs comply with client, technical, and class approval standards.
* Participate in design reviews, providing input and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Support project documentation, including calculations, drawings, and test plans.
* Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and liaise with project engineers and clients.
About You
* HNC or equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline.
* Significant experience of hydraulic system design.
* Proficient in AutoCAD.
* Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
* Experience in offshore or heavy industrial environments is advantageous.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering technical excellence.
