Job Title: Hygiene Engineer (Evening/Night Shift) Hours: 17:00 01:30 Location: Avondale Foods Craigavon About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and hands-on Hygiene Engineer to lead our reassembly and testing operations team following deep cleans carried out by our hygiene department. This role is key to ensuring our production machinery is safely and efficiently returned to operational standard. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate a small team responsible for re-building machinery after cleaning. Conduct functional testing and verification to ensure equipment is safe, compliant and ready for production. Liaise with hygiene, maintenance and production teams to maintain smooth handovers. Uphold health & safety standards and ensure all work complies with site procedures. Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate where necessary. About You Experience in machinery assembly, maintenance or engineering within a manufacturing or food production environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (especially in food environments) is an advantage. What We Offer Competitive salary.
