We’re building secure, scalable systems that support millions of users, and we’re doing it with some of the best tech out there, think Entra ID, Active Directory and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS and a whole lot of automation. This role focuses on identity security and digital encryption, and you get to work across everything from authentication protocols to certificate management and secrets handling. It’s fast-paced and constantly evolving. If you’ve got experience with IAM, PKI and cloud integration and you're comfortable scripting and automating with tools like PowerShell or APIs you’ll fit right in. This team is extremely collaborative and forward-thinking, with a real focus on learning, sharing ideas and building solutions that make a difference.

Responsibilities and required experience

  • Experience of working with Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA technologies.
  • Experience and knowledge of onboarding applications to Entra ID e.g. Enterprise Applications.
  • Practical experience and knowledge in scripting languages for automation e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI.
  • Experience of implementing and working with Privileged Access Management systems and RBAC e.g. Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) or CyberArk PAM.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Secrets Management.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively within complex environments, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and managing relationships with multiple suppliers.

Location, hybrid working and pay

Location: One of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle (your choice of the most convenient hub).

Hybrid Working: Hybrid model - some time at home and some time in a hub.

Pay: Up to £52,442.

Pension: Employer contributions to the civil service pension of 28.97% (valued at over £12,000 per year).

Holidays: Generous leave starting at 26 days, rising to 31 days over time. Up to 3 extra days off per month on flexi-time, plus public holidays.
