Are you an experienced Industrial Doors Engineer looking for a new challenge with plenty of overtime opportunities? Our client is seeking a skilled engineer with a solid background in industrial doors and roller shutters installation, repairs and maintenance for commercial sites.
This role will suit someone who is confident working independently on installations and servicing, ideally with DHF certification, and who is looking to maximise their earnings with regular overtime and on-call work. Any additional experience of automatic doors, gates or access systems would be a distinct advantage.
Job Description:
* Install, service and maintain industrial doors and roller shutters across commercial sites
* Carry out fault-finding, repairs and upgrades to a high standard
* Work to planned schedules as well as reactive call-outs
* Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 12, with call-out payments and overtime)
* Ensure compliance with health + safety and industry regulations
* Provide excellent customer service on site, liaising confidently with clients and colleagues
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in industrial doors and roller shutters installation and maintenance (essential)
* DHF qualification (desirable)
* ADSA or other relevant certifications (advantageous)
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Flexible to participate in overtime and on-call rota
* Full UK driving licence
This is a permanent, full-time role with immediate start available. In addition to competitive hourly rates, you will benefit from regular overtime, call-out payments, bonuses, company van and fuel, pension, private healthcare, and 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays.
