We are currently recruiting for several Industrial, Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join an international company that can offer training and development in the automation world.
The engineer provides a broad-based electrical knowledge with the drive to learn some mechanical skills to become a multi skilled engineer. The correct candidate will come with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site’s performance. Good communication skills are required to ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained at all times.
You would eventually be tasked to complete planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of automated material handling equipment including conveyors and sortation machinery.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 2 / City and Guilds in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
Experience of managing small teams on a customer site
Shift – 4 on 4 off D/N
Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
Ability to work in a time critical environment. Package includes -
