    Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Able to design and develop infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, drainage systems, and signalling, with key experience to demonstrate this
  • Experience in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints
  • Able to prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Able to oversee and manage project execution and work with the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Proven ability to collaborate with designers, planners, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate engineering solutions
  • Ability to perform and review engineering calculations, simulations, and modelling
  • Detailed knowledge of local authority and industry regulations and standards, and experience at ensuring compliance with these
  • Able to identify and resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Expert in preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and project documentation
  • Desirable: 

  • Working towards or achievement of Chartered status
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation)
  • Experience with sustainable design practices and environmental considerations
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and innovations in Civil Engineering
