Main duties and responsibilities \nOffice based: \n \n·Project management \n·Undertaking detailed design work \n·Writing of engineering reports \n·Undertaking site feasibility work \n·Comply with company H & S Standards at all times \n·Other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the position. \n \nPerson Specification: \n \n·Engineer level - ideally with 2-5 years on the job experience \n·Client and local authority liaison experience is very important \n·A willingness to train junior staff members is essential \n·Varied project experience is desirable i.e. commercial (retail, leisure, mixed-use, etc.) industrial and residential \n·Familiarity of common highway and drainage sectional agreements (S38, S278, S104, S185) is essential \n·Must be an experienced user of WinDes and (ideally) Civils 3D, although PDS users should still apply \n·Excellent numeracy / general mathematics understanding are essential \n·Capability of complex S278 design is desirable \n·Ability to produce drainage strategies and zone 1 FRAs is desirable \n·Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD \n·Good organisation, communication and presentation skills are essential - a good understanding of general processes and quality assurance standards is desirable
