Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Support Engineer - Basingstoke - 3 days a week in the office - £40-45k + benefits - 6 month FTC.

The Opportunity: We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with good 2nd / 3rd Line Support skills to join a Basingstoke based organisation who are part-way through a significant digital transformation programme. The role requires onsite presence in the office 3 days per week and the role is being offered on an initial 6 month fixed term contract basis (but may be extended).

The Role: You will be responsible for providing support on IT Systems for users who are predominantly based in the Basingstoke office although there are some other sites across the UK. There's a mix of BAU work but you'll also play a key role in the delivery of new projects.

Key Tasks: - Provide 2nd and 3rd Line Support across the Wintel and Linux Stack - Design, implement and manage complex hybrid infrastructure - Manage the cloud infrastructure (mixed environment) - Help to ensure a proactive service is provided ensuring high quality systems are in place, working and proactively maintained - Act as a technical escalation point for the Service Desk Team - Participate in the on call rota

The Person: - In depth 2nd / 3rd Line Infrastructure Support background with skills in Windows, Linux and Desktop Operating Systems - Azure, Active Directory, ADD, M365, EntraID, File Services, DNS, DHCP - Knowledge of Intune - Experience in Powershell scriptng - Ideally Some AWS / GCP - Basic Networking skills - TCP/IP, LAN / WAN, VPN, Routers, Switches and Firewalls

Qualifications such as the AZ104 or AZ900 a bonus but not necessary as would an educational qualification in IT (e.g. Degree in Computer Science) and / or ITIL Foundation. TPBN1_UKTJ
