Your new company Currently working exclusively with one of London's largest boroughs who are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support key cloud infrastructure projects within a local government environment. This role is designed to deliver targeted project work, enabling the permanent staff to maintain critical BAU services across the council's digital estate.
The role:
Type: Contract Day Rate: £400 - £500 per day inside IR35 Location: London (Hybrid) Length: Initial 6 months (strong chance of extension) Key Responsibilities within the role:
Work alongside permanent IT staff to ensure BAU work is maintained without disruption Implement scalable and secure Azure environments for services supporting residents and council departments Contribute to automation and modernisation initiatives using PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform etc Support cloud migration efforts for legacy on-premise systems Adhere to public sector governance, GDPR compliance, and security standardsWhat you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have the following:
