To work on a variety of installations (Thermoking and Frigoblock) in the workshop facility and on customer sites, adhering to Internal Health and Safety policies and safe working practices. To liaise with the co-ordinator(s)/Admin ensuring all installation information is fully handed over for job creation.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out installations to the highest quality and in accordance with Thermo King guidelines.
2. Ensure daily communication with the co-ordinator(s) about all work in progress on site(s).
3. Maintain awareness of ISO9002 standards and health and safety considerations, ensuring quality standards are met and reviewing any failures.
4. Evaluate development requests from customers, assessing feasibility or finding alternative solutions with the Engineering Manager.
5. Adhere to all OEM type approvals and instructions.
6. Identify and evaluate necessary parts for jobs, ensuring all parts and ancillaries are arranged before starting.
7. Communicate potential problems or concerns to Co-Ordinator(s) and/or Engineering Manager when working on various sites.
8. Coordinate with Installation Administrator(s) before starting and upon completing workloads.
9. Maintain a smart and professional appearance, especially when customer-facing.

Qualifications:

Education:

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with at least 3 grade C’s or above.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle/self-powered fridge installation or a similar area.
• Good working knowledge of the installation process.
• Proven track record of delivering quality.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to plan and prioritize your own work and that of others.

Additional Local Needs:

• Must hold a valid full UK driving license.
• Flexibility to work away from home regularly.
