Instrument and Controls Commissioning Engineer

NES Fircroft are looking for an Instrument & Control Commissioning Engineer to join our Client’s dynamic team at the Wytch Farm oilfield near Corfe Castle, Wareham, Dorset. This is an initial 12 month contract with the scope to become longer term for the right individual. Mon-Fri working on site.
The Role: You will be working within a multi-disciplined team to safely and cost effectively deliver projects and modifications from concept to operation of new and implementing into legacy systems from an Instrument and Control perspective.
The role will involve design work and commissioning of: A full range of instrumentation, Pressure, Temperature, Level, and Flow, in addition to Pneumatic and Hydraulic Control Systems. Distributed Control Systems, Safety Systems, Fire & Gas Systems, Flow Measurement Systems.Key Responsibilities Include:  Form part of a multi-discipline team for HAZOP and LOPA studies. To work with other disciplines to develop project requirements from concept. Producing documentation such as loop sheets, functional design specifications, cross patch schedules, instrument data sheets, functional test procedures and control panel drawings etc. Leading a team to complete commissioning activities and ensuring quality assurance.
