Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer

A Building Services consultancy based a few minutes walk from Birmingham Snow Hill station are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer in their Birmingham office due to an increase in workload.

This consultancy has plans to grow the team over the next 12 months.

Duties and Responsibilities as an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer:

Producing electrical designs, sketches, and schematics for various projects.

*

Designing power distribution and electrical systems with a focus on low carbon engineering.

*

Conducting site surveys and occasional site visits to oversee electrical installations.

*

Preparing detailed technical reports and project documentation.

*

Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

*

Providing design support across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Retail, and Industrial.

Requirements for the Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer:

Experience in a Building Services Consultancy or similar role, such as Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Intermediate Engineer.

*

Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; Revit training is desirable.

*

Strong knowledge of power distribution and power systems design.
