Your role: As a Software Developer in Test (SDET), Front-End, you will be part of a small, focused team responsible for delivering cutting-edge React applications within Global Relay’s platform. You will work directly in code to design efficient and robust testing solutions for React micro front-end applications. Your role includes improving automation frameworks, mentoring team members, and supporting testing efforts to ensure high quality of coverage, code, and delivery.

Your responsibilities:

• Define and automate test cases that verify product requirements
• Develop automated frameworks and tests through coding
• Contribute to the architecture and design decisions of test frameworks
• Design contract tests collaboratively with developers for consumer and producer
• Perform cross-browser testing
• Participate in test execution, issue resolution, and release support
• Maintain test infrastructure and tools
• Engage in team planning and story grooming
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality
• Review and improve test coverage and documentation

About you:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in test development
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and Java
• Experience with testing practices in agile environments
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Cypress
• Assets include experience with contract testing (PACT preferred), testing libraries, micro front-end architectures, network protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP), web services (REST, JSON, Thrift), and CI systems like Jenkins or Bamboo
