Up to £34,775 basic + monthly bonus (OTE £40,000+)
A well-established and growing supplier of mechanical equipment is looking to expand its Internal Sales Team with the addition of a
Technical Sales Engineer . Based at offices in Derby, you'll be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, providing clients with expert advice and tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicating with clients and prospective clients via email and telephone
Gathering detailed information on customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions
Preparing and issuing quotations over the phone and by email
Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations for products
Handling technical queries via phone and email
Following up on quotations and proposals
Processing orders using Sage 200 and raising corresponding purchase orders
About You:To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a sales role within the mechanical equipment industry
Confident IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
Experience using Sage or a similar ERP system
A professional and clear telephone manner
