OverviewTXM Recruit is working in partnership with a leading Data Cabling firm, who are looking for Junior Data Engineers to join their business on an exciting new project in Milton Keynes.We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and develop with a rapidly growing business. We are offering comprehensive training with extensive career progression opportunities.ResponsibilitiesInstall and terminate various categories of data/network cablesRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsConduct cable pulls while adhering to industry standardsInstall cable management systems and network cabinetsPerform cable testing and certificationDocument installation work and maintain accurate recordsWork alongside experienced engineers on larger projects.Hours and PayHours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime available.Some projects may require further travel than normal, and even staying away on some days during the week.Pay: £26,5000 - £29'5000 Per annum.This is a permanent position, suitable for someone looking for long-term career prospects.Required qualifications/competenciesElectrical background/knowledge.Basic understanding of structured cabling systemsKnowledge of different cable categories and standardsAbility to follow technical documentation and specificationsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityBasic understanding of health and safety regulationsGCSE Math and English or equivalentECS/CSCS Card (desirable)Basic understanding of health & safety regulations.If you would be interested in finding out more, please apply or contact Matt Bees at TXM Recruit #J-18808-Ljbffr
