As a Junior Design Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Designers in all aspects of the design phase of multiple Major projectsAs a Junior Design Engineer you willEngage with Tendering and Construction team to facilitate support on technical queries and handovers thought the client journey. Assist in mapping and defining design processes, and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Ipsum Power Ltd and its customers. Minor design amendments and AutoCAD work as needed and support the delivery design phase of projects up 400kV with appropriate use of specialist contractors. We require you to ensure all designs are safe, technically correct, compliant, and deliverable and support senior engineers in maintaining risk register.About youLevel 3 Qualification in either Electrical Engineering (required) and Membership of professional body (desirable). You will have a t least 1 years' experience in a design or project management role and it is essential that you have experience in the electricity, power distribution systems, or renewables industry. Experience in managing design phase of projects from tender through to construction and a good sound knowledge of AutoCAD suit (or similar)is required for the role.
