They are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer / Draughtsman to join their team and develop experience in industrial automation and bespoke machinery design. This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience, learn from senior designers, and build a strong career in industrial automation. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the design and development of components/products using 3D CAD Produce and update drawings, site layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs) Support senior engineers in conceptualising new automation solutions Learn to manage project tasks from conception to delivery Liaise with internal teams and, when appropriate, customers and suppliers Ensure designs are accurate, complete, and comply with quality standards Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives About You: Recent graduate or early-career engineer with good working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (other CAD experience a plus) Interest in industrial automation, bespoke machinery, or special-purpose machines Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn Self-starter with a collaborative mindset Fluent in English and presentable for professional interactions Eligible to live and work in the UK If you’re an ambitious early-career engineer or graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in industrial automation and build your career in mechanical design, we’d love to hear from you.
