Your Team

Your Team: Infrastructure, IT Support & Product Data

The engine room of Eden Interactive, this team powers the underlying systems that keep our platforms fast, secure, and scalable. You\'ll support our teams, improve our infrastructure, and ensure our systems run like clockwork — all while learning modern DevOps practices alongside a highly skilled mentor. We love being proactive and avoiding problems before they start.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support across the Eden Group including 2 physical sites
• Proactively manage and support hardware, network, and server infrastructure
• Maintain and monitor CI/CD pipelines and production systems (Gitlab runners, Error logs etc)
• Automate recurring infrastructure tasks (backups, certs, log rotation, etc.)
• Use AI tools (e.g. Cursor, GPT agents) to write bash scripts, debug logs, and draft infra docs
• Shadow the senior DevOps engineer to progressively take on wider responsibilities across our cloud and on-premise estate
• Learning how to implement, process and maintain our product data feeds systems

Ideal Profile

Don’t worry if you don’t have these but it would be great if you\'re learning or would like to learn what’s below!

• Own transport - preferably a car and a clean driving license - but a bike will be fine as long as your capable of cycling between our office and warehouse (6 miles)
• Excellent self-learning drive and keen problem-solving instincts
• Experience in technical support or junior DevOps, from either university or early career roles
• Windows support
• Android support
• Networking support
• Exposure to core tools and concepts including Linux, Git, Docker, Ansible
• Knowledge of uptime monitoring systems (Zabbix)
• MySQL server maintenance and optimisation
• Curiosity with AI-powered tools for automation and scripting

Career Path

After onboarding and successful completion of your 6-month probation, you’ll be guided along a progression path toward mid-level and eventually senior DevOps roles, shaped around your strengths and interests.
