Join a team that values collaboration, precision, and compliance.Role Responsibilities:Create and maintain electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Vault.Design electrical system layouts, schematics, and cable block diagrams.Support the development of automotive wiring harnesses for engine test facilities.Work from established design specifications with guidance from senior engineers.Reference technical documentation to extract relevant electrical information.Develop installation instructions and user documentation.Participate in design review meetings and provide progress updates.Prepare test documentation for harness quality checks.Gain practical experience with loom and harness builds, including fault-finding tasks.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in electrical/electronic design.Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Electrical, and Autodesk Vault.Familiarity with PLM software, component creation, icon/footprint design, and library management.Knowledge of CE/UKCA compliance and standards.Willingness to learn standards such as EN 60204, EN 12100, and BS 7671.Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.Knowledge of SAE standards or automotive connectors.Knowledge of switchgear selection.Familiarity with instrumentation, embedded electronics, or PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation).Understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001 or ISO 17025).Professional registration or progress toward it (IET or equivalent).Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; evidence of eligibility will be required.
