Overview

Junior Field Service Engineer - Renewables (Training provided). You will ideally be based in or near Nottingham, Newark on Trent, Mansfield, Melton Mowbray. This will include extensive travel as well as time in the Workshop (rarely staying away). Starting salary of £25,500 with increases after 6 months of training to £27K, plus plenty of overtime, door-to-door pay, and a first-year OTE up to £34K (which can increase further). Includes profit-based bonus, pension, future progression, and industry training. The company is a specialist in its industry with growth plans to help shape the UK\'s green economy. The role involves work on sites across the UK and in the Nottinghamshire workshop.

This role would suit someone from an engineering/manufacturing background. Any knowledge of gas, fuelling stations, pipework, pipelines is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Building, installing and servicing gas refuelling infrastructure
  • Maintaining, monitoring and improving all equipment
  • Work pattern: 37.5 hour week; roughly 70% on site and 30% in the Nottingham workshop; early finish on Friday (2pm)

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Must have hands-on engineering experience and a driving license
  • Relevant backgrounds (not limited to): Pipework, Gas pipelines, Refuelling stations, Petroleum, Construction, Automotive, Rail

Location and Travel

  • Based in/near Nottingham, with travel across the UK
  • Nottinghamshire workshop involvement
