We are currently looking for a Junior Network Engineer for a leading food manufacturing business in North Yorkshire. They are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to help provide a robust and secure network infrastructure to support the company's growth plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting network issues.
• Help deploy and maintain network equipment essential to our operations.
• Learn to implement connectivity solutions that support our business needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support daily operations and ensure seamless network performance.
• Contribute to the documentation of our network infrastructure and assist in researching new technologies.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Strong desire to learn and grow in network technologies.
• Interest in obtaining or currently pursuing CCNA certification.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Enthusiasm for understanding Cisco networking.
• Desire to learn about firewalls, VPN technologies, and virtualized environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems.
• Willingness to learn ITIL principles.
