Overview

Software Engineer – Central London (onsite once per week). Salary: GBP 40,000 – GBP 50,000. This role is with a growing Marketing:Tech business in London that partners with various businesses across multiple industries, providing services in developing strategies, marketing automation, brand awareness, performance and creative design. They are embracing AI and have built new AI workflows utilising OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini to shape the business as it grows.

They are looking for a Developer with roughly 12–18 months of experience, ideally worked in a Full Stack environment and with some exposure to AI tools (commercial or personal). Office is based in Central London with in-office requirement of once per week.

Role highlights: hands-on development work with a focus on backend and frontend tasks, plus opportunities to work on AI features and client-facing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Backend: develop with Python (12–18 months experience referenced).
• Frontend: work with Node/Typescript/React (12–18 months experience referenced).
• AI: contribute to a customer-facing AI feature (personal or commercial).
• Self-starter: take initiative and pick up various tasks.
• Desire to learn new technologies and push skills in AI.
• Client-facing role with good stakeholder management skills.
• Support the wider team and other developers as needed.

Qualifications

• Approximately 12–18 months of experience with Python (backend).
• Experience with Node/Typescript/React (frontend).
• Experience with AI tools or AI-driven projects (commercial or personal).
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment and with stakeholder management.
• Strong collaboration and willingness to learn and adapt.
