Leading names from around the world rely on our product every day, including The Times, Le Monde, The Guardian, Vogue and many more.About the Role: You will work closely with our tech teams to define and execute on the future path for our products as well as our Customer Success team to manage support tickets for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent STEM graduate to develop coding skills in a supportive, collaborative environment and build a skillset to later transition into software engineering (after ~2 years). Responsibilities
Acting as third-line support by triaging, troubleshooting, and coordinating resolution of incoming tickets for engineering. Learn to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code, developing skills to identify and fix issues that enhance application performance and reliability. Work alongside senior engineers to learn how to design, build, and maintain interfaces and systems that deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences, with guidance and mentorship throughout. Learn to develop responsive, interactive, and dynamic UIs for web applications that integrate smoothly with back-end services and data science models. Develop skills in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while learning best practices, UI/UX design standards, and accessibility guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to understand feature requirements and contribute to the implementation of new features. Gain hands-on experience with front-end build systems, deployment pipelines, and code versioning under senior guidance.
Requirements
A STEM degree from a leading university. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills developed through academic or project work. Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and logical thinking and genuine interest in learning programming and web development technologies. Basic familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) through coursework, personal projects, or online learning - advanced proficiency not required. A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with strong learning agility and ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred Requirements
Basic understanding of software development principles or exposure to coding through academic projects. Experience with data analysis, mathematical modeling, or technical problem-solving from your STEM background. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working within cross-functional teams. Curiosity about modern web technologies and eagerness to develop technical expertise.
