An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a Junior Technical CAD/Product Development Engineer.

Duties:

* Design and develop products using CAD software such as Auto Desk Inventor.

* Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.

* Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and optimised for manufacturing.

* Checking technical drawings.

* Supporting the manufacturing team.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in CAD software.

* Good knowledge of metals and machining processes.

* Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

* Experience of Auto Desk Vault.

* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar

* Experience with shop floor machining and manufacturing processes.

* Experience producing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical documentation for manufacturing teams.

Hours:

* 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 to 12.30pm Friday.
