An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a Junior Technical CAD/Product Development Engineer.\nDuties:\n * Design and develop products using CAD software such as Auto Desk Inventor.\n * Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.\n * Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and optimised for manufacturing.\n * Checking technical drawings.\n * Supporting the manufacturing team.\nRequirements:\n * Proficiency in CAD software.\n * Good knowledge of metals and machining processes.\n * Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.\n * Experience of Auto Desk Vault.\n * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar\n * Experience with shop floor machining and manufacturing processes.\n * Experience producing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical documentation for manufacturing teams.\nHours:\n * 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 to 12.30pm Friday.\nThis is a permanent position that starts immediately
