Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working with a market-leading manufacturing business in South Yorkshire to recruit a Graduate Technical Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate (BEng / BSc) looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking technical team. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects including technical sales support, product development, data analysis and process improvement, while building strong industry knowledge and expertise.

The Role

As a Graduate Technical Engineer, you will:

• Provide technical sales support to both internal and external teams, including interpreting client requirements and reviewing drawings.
• Build knowledge of products and their applications to confidently advise customers and support field installation projects when required.
• Assist senior engineers with R&D projects, testing, and reporting.
• Liaise with external partners to progress technical projects.
• Analyse internal data to identify trends, highlight non-conformance issues and suggest corrective actions.
• Support internal auditing and continuous improvement activities across the business.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (minimum BEng / BSc).
• Highly detail-focused, analytical and able to apply technical theory to real-world scenarios.
• Confident in collaborating with customers, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
• Adaptable, organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Keen to develop technical expertise with a strong desire to learn.

You will ideally have:

• Up to 2 years’ professional experience in an engineering or customer-facing environment.
• Exposure to project work within a team environment.
• GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science at grade C or above.
