Position: Lead AV Engineer

We are seeking a Lead AV Engineer to join our team in the Midlands. This is a senior hands-on role where you will be responsible for leading installations, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll be working on exciting projects across the UK, with a mix of residential smart homes and commercial AV environments.

• Lead the installation and commissioning of residential and commercial AV systems
• Oversee small teams of engineers and subcontractors on site
• Program and configure smart home and automation systems
• Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensure all works are completed to company and manufacturer standards
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the AV industry (residential & commercial)
• Strong knowledge of smart home and integrated AV systems
• Proven experience working with:
• Control4
• Lutron (RA2/RA3, HomeWorks)
• Crestron
• Additional exposure to Sonance, Bowers & Wilkins, Ruckus, Cisco, and other premium brands is desirable
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
• Full UK driving licence
