This includes work on transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, energy storage systems, inertia systems, wind farms and advanced facilities for mission critical industries in the technology and process sectors.ResponsibilitiesDelivering Civil & Structural Designs for Cable, Substation & other T&D solutions spanning UK projects.Developing designs and undertaking design coordination.Lead people on projects to deliver positive outcomes for clients.Produce design deliverables (assumption notes, technical specifications and calculation notes, etc).Perform analysis tasks as necessary.Oversight, verification and leadership for the preparation of Calculations, CDM activities, Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, Technical Reports, Inter-discipline design coordination and supervision.Technical verifications of civil engineering documents.QualificationsA degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant engineering disciplineChartered Engineer status with a relevant institution or working towards chartered status.Experience within a civil discipline and experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects for Energy Transition industryExperience preparing design calculations, reports, and detailed drawings.
