They are currently seeking a highly experienced and qualified Lead Civil Engineer to deliver design, project management, and leadership across a portfolio of highways and transformation projects. This role plays a vital part in supporting the Councils Stronger Economy and Stronger Communities priorities and delivering key outcomes outlined in the Local Plan. Key Responsibilities Lead on the design, procurement and contract administration of highways, civil and structural engineering projects

Manage all design elements for Local Transport Grant funded schemes

Investigate technical issues and develop feasibility studies, options appraisals, and outline designs

Ensure high-quality delivery from concept through to construction and evaluation

Apply commercial awareness and working knowledge of NEC contracts to manage risk and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
