OverviewThe Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. As a Lead Civil Engineer for SPA, you will provide technical direction to the engineers in your discipline for clean water infrastructure (Infra) and non-infrastructure (Non-Infra) projects. You will provide design support for numerous schemes and ensure all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards. You will be responsible for the checking and reviewing of civil deliverables produced by other civil engineers within SPA and/or our supply chain to ensure the correct processes and procedures are followed. The Lead Civil Engineer will collaborate with key stakeholders and assist the multi-disciplinary project design teams to ensure the selected solution is providing best value for business through being fit for purpose and being completed on time, to budget, and to the correct quality. You\'ll also collaborate with other stakeholders throughout the business and externally to drive continuous developments in engineering, design, and innovation. This role is hybrid.
