Role: Lead Dynamics Finance & Operations Engineer Start Date: Immediate Contract Length: 6 months (extensions available) Work Location: Remote IR35 Status: Inside Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance (can't be lapsed) Our client is seeking a Lead Engineer to support a large-scale Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) deployment. The role focuses on environment management, provisioning, and deployment strategy, including the build, configuration, and optimization of D365 environments while advising on best practices for licensing, deployment, and integration readiness. Responsibilities: Provision sandbox, demo, and production environments using Lifecycle Services (LCS), including Dataverse and SQL configuration. Manage the full deployment life cycle across development, test, UAT, and production environments. Apply and manage application updates, including binary packages, version validation, and rollback procedures. Design environment strategies for multi-region rollouts, pilot systems, and parallel operations. Configure environment-level security, user roles, and access controls in line with compliance standards. Prepare environments for integration with Power Platform, Dual Write, and external systems. Monitor environment health using LCS telemetry and troubleshoot provisioning/deployment issues.
