The Opportunity
A leading UK engineering company is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to head up a small but highly skilled team. Working at the forefront of technology for some of the world's most advanced manufacturers, you'll combine hands-on design work with leadership responsibilities-driving projects from concept through to production.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electronics design engineers Design schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly documentation Oversee testing, fault finding, and validation of electronic systems Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure practical, cost-effective solutions Manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specificationWhat We're Looking For
Proven experience managing or mentoring an engineering design team Strong expertise in analogue and digital PCB design (Altium preferred) Skilled in schematic creation, testing, and validation of electronic systems Experience with design for manufacture principles Organised, proactive, and able to communicate effectively across teams Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budgetWhy Join?
